TV show: The Simpson

The Simpson is a one TV show I like to watch, because these show everyday has different story. This show was crazy and make people was got fun. And I can learn some culture from this TV show. This is a good TV show i watch before and I can study on my language. This is a most watched and famous TV show in American. The Simpson was about the American's life style, American culture, and society.

We went to Millennium Park and Culture Center to interview the people to get the information about the pop culture. We was found pop culture around in downtown. We saw pop culture is represented in places and an advertisement. Then we was interviewed two people to get some opinions about the pop and high culture.

Technology: Cell Phone

I think I cannot without my cell phone, because cell phone was very important for me. Everyday I need to use my cell phone to check the bus and text. And I can easier to contact my friends. Cell phone for me was very useful. And I can use my cell phone to find the words I do not understand and other things. If have problem and it was easy to contact my family and friends.

I chose the movie of an Academy Award movie was “Catch Me If You Can” is movie was about a person’s real story. Is about a main character Frank was did fake around the world. When Frank was very young and he wants to make money. Then he did the easy way to make the money. Frank was started make fraud paycheck. Later, he was used the different identity and fake documents to work around the world. He was become a college professor, airline pilot, doctor, and lawyer. Then he was made much fraud money from different company. After few months, Carl is work in a FBI bank agent. He was want to catch Frank and wants to help them too.

Music

My favorite song is called "Woman Before A Wedding". This Song was sang by Hacken Lee. This song got many awards. This song is an excellent in all aspect other than the lyrics. Also, he was my favorite artist too. He always sang the song was soft. He had a good voice and own key. Pop music was my favorite type music, because pop music was heard softly. And I like to heard the different kind of music too. Music was would make me felt relax.

Reading: I Want to Be Miss America

I chose this reading was about Alverez and her sisters moved to united States to lives so their lives is different. They want to be like others while they want to learn how American live their lives in the United States. Since every countries has their own way of living under different environments and situations, because all countries are different. For example, people who used to play computers and watch movies everyday can not live their the same as if they were in a poor country with no internet or nothing. That's why when the girls moved, they want to live like a normal Americans. Or they might want to fit in the lives of Americans so they can look as if they belonged in order to meet friends.

Culture Identity

Moon Festival is celebrated on the fifteenth day of the eight month in the Chinese calendar. In this holiday the traditional food is moon cake. Moon cake have many different kinds.

The Dragon Boat Festival, and also called Duanwu Festival, is celebrating on the fifth day of the fifth month in Chinese calendar. This Festival was thousands years ago, was eating Zond Zi ( glutinous rice) and race dragon boats. Zond Zi has pork, peanuts, yellow yolk of salted egg and other things. Then wrapped like a pyramid and using bamboo leaves.
